Nobelium PCB Set

This is a PCB set for building your own Nobelium preamp. This is not a beginner project, so if you’ve never built a pedal before, then this isn’t for you.

I’ve tried to make this as affordable and as easy to assemble as possible, but this is a high-voltage circuit and requires special care in assembly, testing, and use. Nobelium is a low-noise, high-quality, studio-grade clean preamp and D.I. It has a nice wide frequency response to be perfect for bass or guitar, and includes a switchable HPF to cut down on unnecessary rumble.

Each PCB also includes two “12AX7-LEFT” PCBs for mounting the tube sockets and a D.I./XLR PCB for mounting the XLR jack, ground lift switch, and D.I. transformer. As of July 2024 I am adding the option to include a D.I. transformer for additional cost. This transformer is the Unagi E4305, the same transformer used in the Sushi Box FX Finally v2, Venus Z, and Grand Slampegg.
