Bassdude D.I. – Finished Pedal

Bassdude D.I. is a studio-grade tube preamp and D.I. based on the preamp of a classic American bass amp from the 1950s. The unique 2-band EQ is flexible enough to dial in every sound you need on any instrument you need, and with gain sweeping from completely clean to saturated tube overdrive, it will suit any style of music you will need it on.

Bassdude D.I. comes loaded with one 12AY7 tube and one 12AT7 (ECC81) tube and is equipped with an Unagi Magnetics E4305 D.I. transformer.

The output source switches at the top provide flexible routing options, allowing you to run either output from the preamp or as a passive passthrough. This can allow you to send a preamp signal to the front of house while sending a dry passthrough to an amp. Or you can keep both outputs connected to the preamp and send a 1/4″ output to an onstage monitor, etc.

As a tube pedal, Bassdude D.I. requires a high amount of current to operate correctly. I recommend a 9-12VDC power supply capable of delivering at least 600mA, and all Bassdude D.I. units will ship with a 9V 1000mA power supply (100-240VAC 50-60Hz input, international operation). Using a supply providing less than 600mA can potentially damage the power supply in use and/or the pedal.
