Wrecking Ball PCB Set

This is a PCB set for building your own Wrecking Ball preamp. This is not a beginner project, so if you’ve never built a pedal before, then this isn’t for you.

I’ve tried to make this as affordable and as easy to assemble as possible, but this is a high-voltage circuit and requires special care in assembly, testing, and use. Conspiracy to Commit Electronics is not responsible for any damage or injury caused by improper handling, assembly, or use of this circuit.

Wrecking Ball is based on legendary high-gain American tube guitar tone. Running three 12AX7 tubes allows it to cover everything from mild overdrive to screaming leads. Featuring a full 3-band EQ with presence control gives you the flexibility to dial in exactly what you need to cut through a mix or rumble the whole block.

Each PCB also includes a “3PDT-TB” footswitch PCB and two “12AX7-LEFT” and one “12AX7-RIGHT” PCB for mounting the tube sockets. A pre-drilled enclosure can be purchased from Tayda Electronics, instructions here. (design in progress, will update soon)
